Chile - Encounter Culture
AAG wants to promote cultural exchange through our programs as well as provide an opportunity to travel the world virtually. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to learn more about a featured country with whom we are establishing and creating stronger business, political and human ties. This month we are highlighting Chile.
Chile is officially known as the Republic of Chile, located in the southern area of the South America continent. The country is a narrow strip of land between the Andes Mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Though the country may be consider small it’s a country pack with much to do especially outdoors. You could check out the Chilean wine valleys, go surfing at Pichilemu , climb a volcano in Pucon, go white water rafting in Futaleufu or if you’re a trill seeker go sandboarding in the desserts outside of San Pedro. The country has a remarkably diverse geography mostly due to the long narrow length of the nation. You can experience desert regions to the north, Mediterranean type terrain and temperatures in central region and expanses rolling pastures in the far southern parts. It is quite difficult to generalize the weather because of large span of the country, so we highly recommend to check it out directly here: Weather in Chile
