The Professional Training Program
Alliance Abroad Group’s Hospitality Career Development program is designed for recent university graduates and young professionals who meet the Australian Research & Training 402 Visa requirements to train in Australia for up a year, within their major field of study.
Alliance Abroad Group’s Career Development participants are placed at 4 and 5-star hotels and resorts across Australia in hospitality positions. Positions are a minimum of 30 hours per week, follow a guided work-based program and pay a salary of $16-22 per hour.
Alliance Abroad Group is a designated 402 Visa sponsor of the Australian Government.

Frequently Asked Questions
The applicant must have 12 months of full-time employment in the occupation that was undertaken in the previous 24 months prior to the application being lodged with the Department of Immigration.
The applicant must have graduated in a degree relevant to the traineeship they are applying for.
If applying for a Hospitality traineeship it needs to be Hospitality Management, Culinary or Tourism related degree.
The applicant must show one of the following:
- English as a native language
- Evidence that at least 5 continuous years of education (at high school and post high school) where the language of instruction was in English. Evidence can be a certified letter from the University stating the course was done in English.
- Copy of an IELTS test with an average band score of 5 based on the four components. This test should have been taken within the last 3 years.
- Equivalent English proficiency to IELTS 5 as certified by other accepted providers.
