National Flag Day

Flag Day

June 14, 2014 – Flag Day

Flag Day is on June 14th. National flags are not merely symbols of a country, but an expression of past history and future goals.  All flags have powerful connotations and evoke lots of pride. We think Flag Day is a great opportunity for cultural exchange, where we can celebrate patriotism and learn the meaning of our international flags.

Here are a few of our recommendations:

Promote & Honor Flag Day – Ask international and domestic staff members to bring in their flag to work. You can use the flags to decorate your staff’s common areas and even encourage them to bring a sweet treat decorated in their flag’s color. Also don’t forget to purchase flag stickers so your employees and customers can enjoy learning and sharing which is their home state or country.
