January Volunteer Opportunities
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?””
Below are some recommended project ideas from the MLK Day of Service website:
- Beautify the community by removing graffiti from a building or paint a mural instead
- Provide food assistance by serving a meal to the homeless, bring meals to the homebound or organize a food donations drive
- Host a discussion about Dr. King’s life and teachings, principles of non-violence or community challenges and ways to address them
