AAG is proud to introduce a new program initiative, called “AAGives Back.”
In response to a Department of State request to engage program participants in volunteer activity as a part of American culture, AAG has developed a nationwide day of service called, “AAGives Back.”
Working together with our host companies, AAG will create meaningful opportunities for our program participants to experience the gift of giving back to the communities hosting their programs.
On August 3rd, 2015, multiple volunteer service events will be coordinated across the country, in a show of J1 volunteer solidarity to “give back.” In areas where AAG has local representation, we’ll host an “after-party” to celebrate the achievement and award participants with an “AAGives Back” service certificate.
As an inaugural launch of the initiative, we’re currently coordinating an “AAGives Back” event for the spring season. We look forward to seeing and sharing the results!
We’ll be calling on our summer season host companies in the coming months to collaborate together to make “AAGives Back” a successful and meaningful event for everyone involved!
